North Thameside Ladies Auxiliary group support patients at Southend Hospital

Southend Hospital’s Macmillan Information Centre has received a generous donation from the North Thameside Ladies Auxiliary (NTLA) Group, long‑standing supporters of the hospital and its patients. The centre provides vital support to patients and families who have recently received a cancer diagnosis or are undergoing treatment, offering a compassionate space of support and guidance.
The NTLA Group’s latest contribution includes a selection of children’s books, presentation screen, a trolley to help staff transport support items around the hospital, and arts and crafts materials to support therapeutic activities.
Clair Grayston, Head of Fundraising for Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity, expressed her gratitude for the group’s continued kindness: “We are incredibly grateful to the NTLA Group for their ongoing dedication to Southend Hospital. Their donations make a real difference to the experience of local patients and families, and we truly appreciate everything they do to support our hospitals and charity.”
The NTLA Group has been a valued supporter of Southend Hospital for many years, and their generosity continues to bring comfort, hope, and practical help to those who need it most.
