Everything you need to know about donating gifts this Christmas

Each year, watching our local community come together to bring joy to our patients at Christmas truly warms our hearts. From toddlers and teenagers, to adults and the elderly, receiving a special gift at Christmas makes a big difference to our patients spending the festive period in hospital.

To ensure everyone stays safe and your generous gifts reach the right people in time, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines:

Arranging Delivery
Please contact our charity team, not the wards to arrange a time to deliver your gifts. The team are out and about a lot over Christmas so please always get in touch first. It means we can ensure we’re where we need to be to accept your donations and that we can liaise with wards to get everything where it needs to be at a suitable time
📞 0300 443 0052
📧 mse.charity@nhs.net
Please don’t deliver gifts directly to the wards – they’re extremely busy and unable to accept donations

Gift Drop-Off Dates
We’re ready to receive your generous donations between Monday 8 December and Monday 22 December

Gift Guidelines

All gifts must be new, unused, and unwrapped (no wrapping paper, we’re sorry!)

Please keep items in their original packaging
